JOIN OUR FALL IMPACT SERIES!
– October to December 2020 / 20 Live Online Events –
When we launched The Condor and the Eagle Impact Series last summer, we asked a key question: How can independent media work drive impact, keeping underrepresented populations and Indigenous voices front and center? We set out with a visionary and bold goal to reach as many people as possible through independent film and education. And we met and exceeded our goal.
In just the past 6 months, we have:
• Hosted more than 40 live online events held in collaboration with our partners, including Sierra Club, WWF, Extinction Rebellion, Amazon Watch, interfaith coalitions, and other local, national, and international groups
• Engaged 150,000 people through the film and post-film conversations
• Raised $50,000 USD for the frontline communities leading the charge against environmental destruction
• Scheduled an additional 20 online screenings scheduled before the end of 2020 where we anticipate reaching an even broader audience.
In the next 6 months, we will:
• Organize more than 70 live online events
• Lead more than 100 recorded events
• Engage hundreds of social and environmental justice organizations
• Engage 500,000 people in our forum discussions
• Raise more than $150,000 for impacted communities
